Montenegro – Thermal power plant Pljevlja

Project: LED lighting in the boiler of a thermal power plant.

LED lighting in the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant in Montenegro has been installed in 2017. The installation phase in 2020 included the reconstruction of the lighting part of the turbine and engine drive.

The lighting modernization project included several requirements: Operating temperature 70 degrees Celsius and the need for illumination 300-500 lx.

The Detas development department made an LED lamp for operating temperatures of 70 degrees Celsius and installed a test lamp in the Thermal Power Plant for 6 months.

After successful testing, lighting was delivered for most of the plant.
